LifePaths is an AI-driven narrative life simulator, presented through its fictional operating system, LifeOS. You embody a character, make decisions — suggested or entirely free — and an AI-weighted d100 decides whether they succeed. Every consequence is permanent.
HOW A TURN IS PLAYED
- An AI-generated situation is presented, along with your gauges: health, morale, social, reputation and money.
- Pick suggestion A or B… or type your own action in the free-text field — even across several turns.
- The AI judges your action: plausibility (from routine to impossible — the impossible fails outright) and coherence (a −30 to +30 modifier).
- The d100 dice decides: Die + AI modifier + skills = outcome, from CRITICAL FAILURE to CRITICAL SUCCESS. Once in a while an extraordinary situation arises that can change everything.
- The consequences apply: gauges, money, relationships, the story continues. Nothing is ever undone.
